3. My Dream Job
Hello everyone, Today we are going to talk about My dream job. First of all, I have a lot of hobbies, and a lot of them was, in the past, a dream job for me; like, I like a lot cook, so one of my dream jobs was be a Chef, also for a long time I was like “I want to be a teacher, a math teacher”, but actually I here, studying sociology.
Well, actually, my dream job is something related to culture or arts; I really like the link betwen the dress-fashion with the queer (LBGT+), or the historical research about fashion, the relevance of arts in the social protest (like the october 19th in Chile); the cultural process of dance (like, the historical transformation of dance, traditional dance to actual urban dance for example). So I think that my dream job is to research one (or most) of those topics.

For do that (talking about fashion, but also works in arts) I need, first of all, finished my career, also I need to do a lot of research about those, and take course or magister or some like that in the topic that I wanted, in this moment I trying to research a lot of fashion and their implication in the society. I try to do those things because I feel that fashion is an important thing in society, like a demonstration about yourself. So I really love to working about fashion in the society, also, we can make changes about that, like the fashion sustainability and not the fast fashion and for do changes we need to study a lot of the impact (social and environment). We can don a Change from the sociology, if we study about that.
And, for the salary, I do not think so much about that, of course I want to gain a lot of money, but I think it is more important that the job will be in the same way of my interest and my point of view.
Hi Carla, what interesting research interests. I hope that in time fashion will take the direction you indicate.
ReplyDeletehello Carla, I find your appreciation for fashion and the historical look you give it fascinating, I also like that you mention sustainability, since fashion is one of the most polluting industries.
ReplyDeleteIt is interesting that a wide variety of topics can be approached from sociology such as fashion. it is very important to link fast fashion with the global economic structure and the exploitation that allows to generate a lot of clothes at low cost
ReplyDeletehi carla, is really cool how you see the relation of the fashion and the queer. Your blog show your love for that
